Motorola XOOM 2

Xoom 2 is designed to feel light in our hands, weighing just about 599 grams around 130 grams lighter than its predecessor which was weighing around 730 grams. Well there are lighter tablets than this of other companies but for Motorola Tablet Company probably this is the lightest tablet. The tablet is designed quite similar to iPad 2 having 8.8 mm thickness.

Display

1-inch, 1280 x 800 capacitive displays, in conjunction with 2-megapixel front-facing camera and 5-megapixel backside camera with 720p video recording. It also boxes a Corning Gorilla glass and a splash resistant coating that will be protecting the tablets display from all sort of physical damage. Tablet has a dimension of about 253.9 x 173.6 x 8.8 mm.

Performance

The performance based on starting and responding over the application and hardware is pretty fast as Motorola XOOM 2 has 1.5 GHz dual core Qualcomm processor with 1GB RAM. The inbuilt cameras one with 5 megapixels rear and 1.3MP from camera gives good results. The XOOM 2 carries the power of NVIDIA Tegra2 T20 With 1.2GHz dual core A9. The inbuilt 16GB /32BG (internal flash storage) storage but no micro SD slots to expand storage of tablet, this device comes with android 3.2 Honeycomb OS. It is less time consuming in opening, running or doing more in apps. This enables to work in very less time in site with flash in it. Motorola XOOM 2 supports HTML 5 based Android Web kit. Few pre-installed office application like Quick office HD, Twonky and Ctrix are available for business user. Motorola XOOM 2 allows holding the tablet screen while doing multi-touch scrolling and zooming. The micro USB port work for two features which increases the usability as synchronization and charge point as it charges the battery along with the synchronizing with PC. The file transfer feature is very handy while synchronizing with Mac or Linux with the support of MTP protocol, but with windows one need to install Motocast file manager. It also has the feature of GPS with GPS Support with cool stylus. Battery life ends with 8-9 hrs of usage which is pretty less on the count as other runs much more.

Expert

What does work for the Motorola Xoom is the reality that hard-core multi-tasking is probable even under heavy download. This is a big plus as you’ll be able to do more than one thing at a time without glitches or lag. The 3D graphics performance is also top class and tends to make watching HD multimedia subject material a pleasure.

You must know that Motorola Xoom 2 has been available in two version in the States a 10.1 inches and an 8.2 inch Media Edition.

HTC Flyer 7 inch Tablet PC

There are three types of Tablet PCs: the convertible, the slate and the rugged. Each type is designed with a specific user in mind. Whether you're looking for something sleek and extremely portable or extremely durable, knowing the choices available will help you decide which is best.

The Flyer looks like a blown up HTC Sensation from the front. Well, HTC has a good thing going in its smart phone design department and it ain’t such a bad thing to carry it forward in the tablet space too. The rear, however, is a different story all together. The top and bottom are two white pieces of plastic that come off to accommodate a SIM card and microSD card. Taking these pieces off is a monumental task and there were moments as many when I feared something would snap. Between the two is a metallic-finish portion that stays put and makes the tablet feel sturdy enough to last for a reasonable period of time.

Apart from the usual features you would expect from an Android tablet, the HTC Flyer also boasts of the new Scribe feature. To make use of this feature, the Flyer comes bundled with a stylus (known as the "Magic Pen"). Scribe allows you to make annotations, sketch or write notes using the stylus like you would on a regular notepad. You can scribble on the screen within almost every app (except for videos and the camera) and the moment you tap the screen with the pen, the tablet takes a snapshot of the screen allowing you to scribble on it.

This is a really snappy little device. With a 1.5 GHz Snapdragon processor and 1 GB of RAM, it’s pretty hard to slow this thing down. It never feels laggy or jittery, graphic intensive games like Dungeon Defenders load quickly and moving around inside the OS is comfortable. The stylus is very useful and functions mostly as you’d want it to.

So for what are you waiting guys check it out HTC Flyer specification and features is too cool gadgets ever.

Samsung Series 7 Slate Tablet PC

For the road warriors, this is the ultimate lightweight power computing tool you must have. The full functionality of a laptop in a tablet format that is easy to use and incredibly compact and lightweight. I use to hate lugging around my four pound laptop but I just got off a week trip and loved the fact the Slate boots up faster than any laptop I've ever had and is fully functioning computer that allows me to jump between the Microsoft and Adobe suite of products.

Usually whenever somebody speaks of a tablet, they are clouded idea of an Android powered slate or an iOS powered iPad. The Samsung Series 7 Slate PC features not an Intel Atom but rather a more powerful processor which is the Intel Core i5 processor instead. In addition to that, it also features a dock which allows the user to use a physical keyboard instead of the on-screen keyboard. The Windows 7 OS allows you to run all your favorite office software.

You can share documents with co-workers without any compatibility issues. And our Samsung touch interface gives you easy, instant access to all your programs.  It is fast and I find it runs my programs faster than my laptop did. I was really pleasantly surprised at how fast it boots up. I love being able to take notes with the pen. My writing is changed to text with remarkable accuracy.

It has become so valuable to me that I now use it as my everyday work computer.
